Costa, KFC & Pizzahut design, for SME group PLC. This was for a large pitch, where the client wanted to see existing adverts on a bus roll format.
Somerset rural life museum design, an existing client who expressed interest in advertising on bus rolls locally. This was a rare spec art project where I was briefed by the client, and able to liaise with them directly.
Lovebug designs across multiple formats; both bus and petrol rolls. Pitched as part of a wider campaign. The design was to demonstrate the adverts could show an offer, an interactive link and the brands unique selling points, to maximise engagement.
Snappy shopper designs, for bus and petrol rolls. This required a fast turnaround, so I was given full control of creating the adverts message, design and layout. Only supplied with their logo and a basic brief, this was a great opportunity to be creative.
Xero design, where I was briefed to adapt an existing digital campaign into a petrol roll format. I was tasked with using existing assets to create two design options, but had to maintain the brand guidelines and campaign message.
Aspirations, where I was briefed to create two differing bus roll designs. One with a website link, and another with a QR code. They supplied assets and brand guidelines from their website.
The above work was produced whilst I was head of creative services at ticket media. In an average month I would be responsible for designing up to 15 different spec art designs for prospective clients.
These projects often involved liaising with the sales team, rather than the prospective client directly. I would often have to create or reformat assets, whilst following brand guidelines and supplied documents.
Occasionally, when working to an urgent deadline of an hour or two, it would be largely self directed, with just a link from the sales team to an existing advert. Sometimes creating from scratch, using just a brand identity for reference.
